Common Email Hacking Methods
Gone are the days when email hacking was a sophisticated art. Today any body can access hacking tips through the Internet and start hacking your yahoo or hotmail account. All that is needed is doing a search on google with keywords like “how to hack yahoo”, “hack yahoo messenger”, “hotmail hack program” etc. The following article is not an effort to teach you email hacking, but it has more to do with raising awareness on some common email hacking methods.
Hackers can install keylogger programs in the victim’s computer. This program can spy on what the user types from the keyboard. If you think that you can just uninstall such programs, you are wrong as they are completely hidden. After installation, the hacker will use a password and hot keys to enable the keylogger. He can then use the hot keys and password to access your key entry details.
A keylogger program is widely available on the internet.some of them are listed below

Even if direct access to your computer is not possible, hackers can still install a key logger from a remote place and access your computer using Remote Administration Tools (RATs).
Another way of getting your password is the use of fake login pages that look exactly like the real one. So, beware of the web pages you visit. Also if you find your computer behaving oddly, there is a chance that some spy program is running. Your PC is most likely affected by virus attack.so,you have to reinstall your operating system.After reinstall,you have to install a good antivirus sowtware to keep your PC away from viruses.I recommend Kaspersky,Bit defender and Norton antiviruses.
NOTE:YOU MUST KEEP UPDATING THE ANTIVIRUS ONLINE.OTHERWISE IT WILL BE OF NO USE.

There r many ways to remove virusses. I ll tel u the most simple method to find the virus. Do Like This -> Start-> Run
Inside the box type
msconfig
then press enter
At that pannel, go to startup
U will C the Virus listed in the startup. With the location.
And U can C the virus running in the task manager also.End The Process.
Do a disk cleanup.
My computer tools->options
Show hidden folders option = true
Remove two ticks of the other boxes also very next That.
Get a command prompt
type cd..
then press enter
Type cd All users
Then Press enter…
Then type
The Type dir /a /q
Check whether their is an Autorun.inf file
And the program thet u saw. It will be an .exe file
Then if its there do the following…
type attrib -s -h -a -r autorun.inf
then enter
then type del autorun.inf
do the same to that .exe file also
Make sure that u r deleting the virus. Normally there are no .exe files at that location. If U need more info just contact me in yahoo. my id is [email protected]…Coz that is the most simple method.
Don’t fully format your hard drive more than 3 times. Then it will be having a performance degradation.

Sorry to say this..If you are unable to recover the password through alternate email(or secret Question) then it is not possible to get it back from any other ways…

There is a slight difference from hacking and being a script kiddie…unless you program yourself, you shouldn’t really say you are a hacker. It would be best if you learned some V-C++ so you could be more independent. If you can’t do it yourself, don’t do it at all.
How is it possible that a person gets onto ur gmail n sends all your mails onto his/ her own inbox.. all mails n chatlogs.. n one person got all my chat logs of yahoo .. now the person dint send any files as keylogger or anything such.. is there any other go? he got all chat logs only of one of my ids of yahoo.. This is possible in the following cases
1.You might have accessed your account in Public places(Cyber cafe)
2.or in your friend’s house (where spywares are installed)
3.Your system is infected by spywares

Hey Srikanth, we would b glad to know if you can make some sort of rootkit that would disable the antivirus and put the trojan we use into its exclusions so that the trojan can be installed and made working without any problem.(specially for avg8 and norton)

It is a difficult task.But can be done.We have to disable different antivirus in different ways.Firt of all I have to install the same antivirus on my system,analyze and then write a code for disabling this.
Also along with this I have to emded the trojan in this file itself, so that it executes the trojan as soon as the antivirus is disabled.
But to do all this I have no time now….

1.Get your operating system completely reinstalled(Highly recommended)
2.Install a good antivirus and keep updating it online.
3.As far as possible access your email account from your PC only.
4.Do not allow others to access your PC in your absence.

If you are able to access the keylogger via secret key then it is possible to uninstall it from the user interface.Otherwise scan ur system with a good anti-spyware, and it’ll detect and uninstall it.

For sending logs to an email address, the keylogger must have a built in SMTP server.If the SMTP server is not built into the keylogger, then this problem is common.You may try some other keylogger.
Sri….I installed a keylogger program called secure tactics to a computer that I do not have physical access to but I am able to connect to that computer via a remote access program. I am lucky enough to have the user id and pw for that program. That is how I downloaded the keylogger program. When I access the hidden menu via the hotkeys, I click on the email tab it of course asks you for your email address to send the logs to, which I put in. Then under that it says SMPT server and there are two choices a “send automatically” button and then a button below that says advanced smpt settings. It asks for a host name, user id and password and a port box with the number 80 on it. I’m not very proficient in smpt settings (or whatever it even means), but when I click the “send test email”, an smpt error setting comes up. Do I have to click something and set it up? I’m sure these programs are all pretty much the same. I don’t want to uninstall and reinstall the keylogger program cuz it will be too much of a hassle and I don’t have that much time to do it. what do u suggest?

You need to slect Advanced smtp settings
1.Open a new account in gmail.com(or use your existing one)
Use the following configuration in your Secure tactics
Hostname:smtp.gmail.com
User ID:[email protected] (your gmail address)
Password:Your gmail login password
Port:587
Erase the already existing Port number 80 and replace it with 587.If this doesn’t work try port number 465.

Day in and day out I am being bothered by someone who keeps on hacking my account password and already a mess has been created. Yes it is possible to hack any email as long as your are not aware of your privacy.But it is definitely possible to protect your email account from being hacked.Here are a few tips.
1.Always use a good antivirus/antispyware and keep it upto date.
2.Never share your passwords with others.
3.Accessing your email accounts from cyber cafes is considered a high risk.(It’s just a cakewalk for the cafe
4.Be aware of phishing(It is the most widely used method for hacking email).

Thank you for your info here. I’m interested in getting the $29.95 Win-Spy 9.1 Pro. But the reviews I’ve been reading all say the receiver will have to deactivate their security setting to install it, making it really obvious. Have you heard of similar stories?
Can the program attach to a picture so when the receiver downloads the picture, the program is installed on her computer?

For most of the keyloggers it is necessary that you deactivate the security setting.
But for some it is not necessary since they remain stealth.
By using Win-Spy you can attach the keylogger for the following type of files
1) Combine win-spy remote with any other program. When program is executed Win-Spy will install.
2) Excel file for remote deployment.
3) Power Point remote deployment
4) Standard exe with jpg icon.
5) Screen Saver (scr) Embed win-spy into screen saver(.scr) program.
In fact you cannot attach it to an image.But you can make the file look like an image so that the victim might click on it.
Thanks Srikanth! I just found out that gmail has a “last activity” feature which allows its user to see if anyone has accessed the account and the snooper’s IP address. That just defeats the whole purpose of having spy ware. Is there a way around that? Can I log on to gmail “invisibly”?

No it’s not possible to login to gmail invisibly.But you can use a proxy to hide your original IP while you login.
ALso 99% of gmail users are unaware of the Last activity feature on Gmail.So we can proceed without any prob….

i.e its starting. after few minutes every thing is going 2 stuck.

Seems that your hardware is corrupt. You need to contact a computer service engineer(from whom you purchased your PC). You may be having the following problems
1. Your hard disk might be corrupt
2. Your Harddisk Data/Power cable has a problem.
3. Your RAM has some compatibilty errors.
Tips to choose a Good RAM.
Always purchase a RAM that is sealed (Transcend or Kingston is recommended)
4. Or any other Hardware problem.

I’m baaaackkk! Well, I did what you told me to on the SMPT settings for the secure tactics program and it still doesn’t work. I even tried both port settings you suggested and tried to send a test email and I was getting that same stupid error message. What do you think could be the problem?
I also have another question for you. How do I find out the name associated with an email address? This particular email address ends in a @126.com. It’s all in chinese! This particular person also has an MSN messenger email address under hotmail. Maybe its easier that way? I would appreciate any feedback.

The keylogger that you are using should have used it’s own SMTP relay server to send the logs. But I think it doesn’t have this feature. try different keylogger or try sending tthe logs to a different email address other than yahoo and gmail

I did. I tried with even aol. None of them worked. No problem, I will just have to access the keylogger the way I have been remotely…but now my question is….let’s say I have a screenshot up that I pulled from the keylogger and I want to make a copy of it. When I right click the mouse, nothing shows up. I even tried the select all feature from the edit menu and copied and when I minimize the screenshot and pull up let’s say, word, and try to paste it doesn’t recognize what I just copied and will only paste what the victim’s had previously copied (sentence or whatever). Is it because I am accessing remotely? I would not have the opportunity to physically access the computer, so my only option is through the remote feature….which is go2mypc.com. How can I get copies of what I am viewing??

To make a copy the only option to try is Print Screen. The print screen key is located just above the notpad. when you are viewing the screenshots press the printscreen key. Now go to paint and paste. The whole page will be pasted. Crop the part that is needed.

1- Would a non professional be able to get personal info from a ip or isp address retrived through an annomouse e-mail?

1- Yes. IP address can reveal your exact location such as your City, name of your ISP etc. This info is available to everyone. Further, the IP can be traced back to your residential address on demand!

Hello Srikanth..How are you?I tried to click on Win-spy but they don’t have free trial anymore.Is it safe to download free trial on Net regarding remote pc monitoring software?One more thing…regarding my daughter’s e-mail account,she changed her psswrd but unluckily,she can’t remember it and when we tried to sign in to change psswrd,she wasn’t able to change it coz she can’t even remember her pet name on the secret question.We tried many times and after few failures,it was locked and can’t try w/in 24 hrs.Is there any solution for this?Need help…..regards

Yes, Win-Spy Monitor is not available on the trial mode in order to protect it from antivirus softwares by detecting it as a virus. If the trial programs are freely distributed then it increases the chances of it from being detected by antivirus. So, to keep it 100% stealth they have discontinued the trial download.
And regarding the password and secret question: If your daughter has a secondary email address associated with her account, then the password reset link will be sent to that ID. If there exists no secondary email ID and also if she doesn’t remember her Secret question, then it is not possible to get back her old account..

Also do you know how i could trace the isp info and residential adress from a yahoo e-mail i recieved as you stated was possible in another post.

Thank you very much for your reply Srikanth.Actually,it was my advice to my kids not to write their personal info when they created yahoo account and i never realiaze too that those secret question would be helpful once you forgot your password.Neither do i can still remember what i wrote on the secret question on my account.I should write it down in the first place.Now,i had my lesson.Thank you very much….I always view your site..It became a habit already…reading comments from people with different problems as well,your warm reply to them…This is the only site where i could read each word from first up to the last page.Your site gave me so much knowledge….Thank you and more power to this site….God Bless..

Well it all depends on the type of the script used. Most of the free hosting providers disable the option to send an email. So it is better to use a script that saves the username and password onto a file, so that you can see it later…..

If everyting has been changed then it is not possible to get back your account. This is what Yahoo’s policy says. You need to prove that you are the owner of the account atleast in aany one way…

I am a bit in the same dilema as shiva (with yahoo). Unlike Shiva, I do know all of my information except ‘pastime.’ Account was locked when i attempted to change the password of my own account and when I try to log back on it doesn’t allow me unless I answer the security question “what is your pastime” which i do not remember. The account was created many years ago and cannot remember what it is that I answered.
Is ther a way of gettin around this? Is haking possible and or necesary? Thanks

YOu have to use your secondary email address to reset your password(if you do not remember your secret question).. These are the only two ways..

I am such big doodoo then because i did not asign a secondary email address and have tried every possible pastime I can think of. Is there any way of just extracting the contacts from yahoo?
I now have a second account i had to creat but ALL of my contacts are in my yahoo account that I cannot get access too.

Sorry these is no way to extract the contact details unless you are using a service such a Outlook to send and receive mails…

I used to think that my cousin was just a wannabe hacker, but recently, i tested him, and gave him my email address, with that, he accessed my computer. (ie moved the mouse, mad “start” button disappear…) Is it possible that he found my ip-address, then accessed my computer from remote access?
