Well this post is simple here is an advanced way.

1. Make a new folder.

2. rename the folder hold down alt and press 255 on your numpad.
This gives your folder blank name instead of "new folder" it will say " " ( without quotes ).

3. Right-Click the nameless folder and click the Customize tab.

4. Click "change icon" at the bottom of the menu. Select a blank icon ( it appears as nothing like a space between the other available icons.)

5. Press ok and ok again and your done.

NOTE: you can also hide it or hide your files in pictures.

honestly, this is a very simple way to do that and doesn´t always work, since a lot of ppl use zip and rar files to compress files and zip files are not folders...

the best way to create a safe "folder" or even a virtual drive, is using a tool like truecrypt, create a container file with a good password and a good algorithm and create a virtual drive using the same container...

I Created a safe virtual drive using 100gb of my HD, created the container file with a good encryption and mounted the file as a folder, to create the file it took some hours, but its better than zipping

You can even encrypt the entire system drive with this program, and its free and opensource
