I edit my start menu using RH.exe and it works too.

So, i confused from where to start i reach to these destination what you have provided:HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\ CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced……..here what i have to do make a new key or in that i have to make it.Reply i hope,i think you don’t mind.

The post explains How to edit start menu NAME in XP. That means, in Win XP the start menu is named as “start” by default. But this trick explains you to rename it to something else of your choice. For ex. you can rename the “start” to “begin”…
