hey,

instead of trying all the steps above do this…

I have bsnl, and simple I just disconnected my internet and connected again…

my ip was switched!!!

The IP Release command releases the “hold” of any IP address configuration data it has received from the DHCP server and allows that IP Address to be re-assigned to another network adapter.

After issuing a release command, your network adapter will no longer have a valid configuration and will not be able to connect to the network unless you use the command ipconfig /renew or you restart the adapter/computer.

i tried it out and i found out that when i type ipconfig/release it display something which i couldnt understand can you please explain better for me, cos i want to be like you, but really you are really doing a great job, kudoos to you

is changing are IP adress is almost same as hidding IP adress. if any body trace our IP it will show wrong location

The address shown by “ipconfig” is not your IP, rather it’s only your LAN/Ethernet address. To know your IP visit http://www.whatismyip.com

hi sikanth,i want to find the ip address of my own computer.when i type ipconfig in dos prompt it is displaying an ip address and when i open sites like arukjohn.com that automatically tells our ip address it is displaying another one.which one is correct.plz reply me.

How do you get an ip that’s divisble by 8 in the 3rd set for example 123.162.48.2? Is it possible to find the list of ip’s qwest gives? If so, what site is it called?
