i have tried vista, xp, and 7.to me they all have their ups and downs and here is what i experience
XP:great for gaming and graphics as well as good speed but not for beginners
vista:a bit slow sometimes and not the best graphics support but its good for internet and other related such
7:similar to vista but has support for xp programs very good all around but takes some getting used to.
these are MY opinons and i do not wish to offend anybody with them
personally,i like vista the most

Buddies, I don't think you'll have to wait so loong to use this OS because its beta release is already leaked a loong ago on the internet.....

I have downloaded and used that release as my default operating system for around a month and its looks are much more cooler than the vista and still does not compromise with the performance.....

A lot of networking problems has also been solved(i had problem with vista that sometimes it didnt detected the pcs conneted through ethernet but it can detect any pc(except for win95 98 n me, it will detect but wont b able to share, i tried a lot, hav any sol, then tell me)).....

I have not used it on laptop so I am not sure about the wireless network feature that they assure is much more easier than its predecessor.......

I hope you people will enjoy using windows 7......
